What can I do to lose a well amount of weight over the summer?

im 16 year old male, 5.5, i used to weigh 182 but now i weigh 165, i desperately need to lose more, but I'm having trouble sticking to my plans. but for the past two weeks i grew a pair and woke up early to do some exercise and started eating more but less. like 4-5 meals a day but small ones. i take some protein in the morning and at bedtime. please any help will be greatly appreciated.
