Should i give this guy another chance?

i met this guy about 2 monthes ago. hwe saw eachother every sat. because we were in a dance court for a quince. i had my first kiss with him at the quince and in the next few days, we set up a double date with some of my friends. he didnt answer my txts but messaged me on fb that he was still going (facebook is our main way of communicating). long story short, he didnt show and his dad txtd that he couldnt go because of he was grounded and had his phone. i got home from the awckward 3rd wheel date and chattd him on fb and he said he was sorry.. but he hasnt asked me on another date and a part of me doesnt want to c him but another part does. any suggestions?
