I also have anemia, but i had it before pregnancy to begin with. Don't take any more iron pills because too much iron is bad. But you should eat foods that have iron in them like beef, turkey, shrimp, baked potato with skin, spinach, beans and peas, or dried fruit. Increase your vitamin c intake and try to avoid caffinated beverages, antacids, high-fiber foods, and high calcium foods because they can interfere with iron absorbtion.
