So I want to have a quinceanera.?

All right so when i was 15 we couldn't afford for me to have a quinceanera because we'll plain and simple they are down right expensive. And i was suppose to have a sweet 16 birthday party but for whatever reason it never happened. So now im old enough to work and im turning 17 but i wanna have something like a quinceanera either for my 17th or 18th birthday. and im going to for sure pay for my own dress cause those are expensive. and blah blah blah. But anyways im hispanic and quince's are our coming of age which is well known. And I have wanted a quinceanera since i was little. So i was wondering is it weird for a 17 or 18 year old girl to put on a quinceanera dress and have a party that's like a quinceanera or what? Any ideas or suggestions please and thank you(:
