Random survey! Answer before bedtime! :)?

Hey, guys. I need your opinions. :) I have 2 friends on y!a. One's a guy, one's a girl. Both of them ask the same amount of questions, give the same amount of answers, but for some reason, the dude is more popular. My female friend asked me why the guy's more popular than she is. I tell her maybe it's because he asks better questions. But my roomate yells from the bathroom "It's because she's a girl!" I want to know what you think about this. Why is she less popular than the guy? (They both have been on for a yearr.)
