Please help me understand my blood sugar!!! I'm so confused.?

I was recently sent in for a blood sugar test and my FBS was 62 after 11 hours fasting. I was going in because I have been extremely thirsty and peeing all the time. So they said I was fine. So out of curiosity since it runs so heavily in my family I have been testing since. My fasting numbers are rarely under 100 and have been up as high as 129. What I really don't understand is that 1 hours after eating it can be 142-150 then 2 hours 100-120 then 3 hours after eating it will be 164. I don't know why it would go up then and what it means. The only guidelines I can find are for 1 and 2 hours after eating. It is alway high when I go to bed too which is always more than 2 hours after eating. It will frequently be in the 150-160 range at bedtime as well. What does this mean and why would the numbers jump up after the 2 hour mark? Thanks!
