How to dance casually!?!!?

ok so i am going to a quince, and the only dance i know how to dance is to your a jerk and every day i'm shufflin. the last quince i attended i felt so embarassed that they knew how to dance or atleast get in the rethym. i can't dance cumbia, merengue and bachata i feel embarassed. does any body have tips to dancing like that or anything i can casually dance too. my friend had to help me out and she constantly went to others to make them dance with her. and i half of the time i was in a circle doing RING AROUND THE ROSEY. .... :( any help, youtube doesnt help at all!
